Maintenance Agreement

An agreement between the homeowner or commercial OWTS owner and a Qualified Service Provider, Accredited Inspector, or Pumper for the purpose of providing routine operation, maintenance and monitoring, or inspection of an OWTS. They are required of all NSF certified equipment and by many state and local agencies for advanced technologies. Many state and local agencies have some level of routine maintenance for standard gravity systems as well. Mandatory or not, a maintenance contract will extend the life of your OWTS.
