Pressure Sewer

A small-diameter pipe into which partially-treated wastewater is pumped and then transported under pressure to a final treatment facility or to a conventional gravity sewer main. There are two main types of pressure sewer systems: the Septic Tank Effluent Pump (STEP) system and the Grinder Pump system. <
